JAmie & Caitlin

intimate forest boho wedding

When you connect, you connect, and with these two we really did. What we thought would be a quick cup of coffee turned to hours of conversation. We laughed and laughed sitting together during our first meeting, and continued every time we got to talk, because these two had a familiarity about them that could make anyone comfortable. Truthfully, each and every encounter we had with Jamie and Caitlin we loved, and each day leading to their wedding our excitement grew stronger to see how they would execute their vision and their love into this day. Nothing disappointed. Being artists themselves, it came as no surprise that their ideas would manifest into the stunning wedding that it did, and that they would find a team of talented vendors to execute their terra cotta toned, bohemian accented, wild forested wedding dreams.

The start of the wedding day always seems to be filled with anticipation as the florals are cut and the loved ones gather with congratulations, this day was no exception. Surrounded by the couple’s closest 20 guests they recited their vows with the August light dancing through the surrounding trees at *kortright Conservation*. Each aspect of their wedding felt personal, from the rich earthy tones of the dried florals, to the macrame tapestry hanging at the alter made by Caitlin’s mom. The attention to the details of the colour pallet and the atmosphere they wanted to create for their guests came through in every sense of their design plan, making us wonder if they would consider styling weddings full-time. As the day progressed and the sunlight turned to golden hour, the four of us made our way to a field where we would find the best light to take their wedding photos together. It was a light that would create a soft and romantic dream-like state. Perfectly designed or not, 100 guests or 20, this wedding was filled with laugher (lots of laugher), art, personal touches, a love.

Excited to share Cailtin and Jamie’s earthy bohemian inspired wedding in the woods.
