Anya & Jeff

rustic autumn engagement session

These two have my heart. Lucky enough to call Anya and Jeff two of my closest friends, I’ve watched as the highs and lows of the past couple years push their original wedding plans back more and more. Although plans can be very touch and go in this present time, rewind years earlier, on a cool day in November, we found ourselves heading out to an old farm to celebrate their exciting engagement.

This day called for layers and close interaction. It was a perfectly overcast Fall day, but inside the farmhouse was warm and the old paintings and Persian rugs made for a cozy and inspiring place to be together. Stretched out on a mustard couch they held each other, and just before heading outside to the brown stretches of field, they shared some champagne and a cheers to their future.

Photographing my close friends can be the most rewarding part of my job as I always love bringing people into my world. I hope you enjoy seeing what we did in this vintage farmhouse inspired engagement session.
